The Pollution Control Division is responsible for the design, review, inspection and complaint investigation of on-site sewage disposal systems.  The division also inspects, samples and licenses public and semi-private swimming pools and spas. In addition, the division is also actively involved in other environmental protection services such as investigation of underground storage tanks, hazardous materials spills and Phase I assessments.
